Obituary Randall Lee Dean age 65 of Dryden, VA was born February 25, 1957 in Ewing, VA and passed away May 17, 2022 at his home. He was a correctional officer for the Virginia Department of Corrections for 30 plus years, most recently of Wallens Ridge State Prison. He loved to ride motorcycles and enjoyed time spent with his grandchildren. He was a member of Widows Sons and Masonic Lodge # 326 in Dryden, VA. He was preceded in death by his parents Ewell and Lina Dean, three brothers Gene, David and Howard, and two sisters Dorcie and Joyce. Randall is survived by his wife Sharon Dean of the home, one son Brandon Dean and fiance, Mary of Rose Hill, VA, five step-sons Scotty, Josh, Chad, Seth and Keaton, grandchildren Keaston, Tanner, Taylor, Addie, Kendall, Jeremiah, Hudson, Grady and Jacob. He is also survived by one brother Johnny Dean of Ewing, VA, a special nephew Terry Dean and a host of family and friends. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. A funeral service will be held at 8:00 PM Tuesday with Rev. Ronnie Maness and Ira Clark officiating. Masonic Rites will be held prior to the funeral service. Entombment will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, VA. Honor Guard will be presented by the Virginia Department of Corrections. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:30 AM Wednesday to go to the cemetery.
