Polly Jane Davis, a resident of Pennington Gap, VA, passed away on Sunday, July 14th, 2024 at the age of 79.

Polly was born on Friday, July 28th, 1944 in Pennington Gap, VA to her late parents Ben F Carroll and Nelly Rayburn Carroll. Polly spent her life as a dedicated homemaker, taking care of her family and creating a warm and loving home. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and love for her family.

Along with her parents Polly was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ray Davis; daughter, Frances Kay Davis; four sisters, Ruth Eleanor Hughes, Ruby Jean McGill, Louise Taylor, and Mabel Moon; four brothers, Franklin Carroll, Ralph Carroll, Cecil Shephard, and JC Shepherd.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Donald Davis and wife Marcia; daughter, Maritta Davis; grandchildren, Kayla Helton, Myranda Williams, Shawn Davis, Justin Kennedy and Joseph Kennedy; great grandchildren, Aubree Mullins, Lincoln Mullins, Aidyn Garrett, Gunner Garrett, Karlee Garrett, Jaycee Garrett, and Kimber Spivey; along with several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, VA with Pastor Steve Neff officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:50 AM.
