Pinia Wilson, age 88, of Pennington Gap, VA was born in Lee County, VA on Thursday, October 28, 1926 and went to be with her Lord on Monday, April 6, 2015 at Lee Nursing and Rehab in Pennington Gap, VA. She had lived in the Poor Valley Community of Pennington Gap her entire life. She was a loving mother and grandmother she was also a homemaker who loved her family so very much. She was of the Baptist faith and believed in the Heavenly Father Jehovah God and his precious son, her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She spoke of going to her Heavenly Home long before she passed away. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jess William Wilson; her parents, Gerome Garrett and America Powell Garrett; one sister, Opal Eldridge and four brothers, Herman, Huston, Carlos and Isom Garrett. She is survived by her children, Darlene Minor and husband Roy of Pennington Gap, VA; Harold Wilson of Pennington Gap, VA; Mary Terry of Ben Hur, VA; Betty Davis and husband Tony of Wise, VA; Bobby Wilson of Pennington Gap, VA; Jerry Wilson and wife Jackie of Duffield, VA and Deborah Lamb and husband Robert of Woodway, VA; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and her loving neighbor and caregiver Geraldine Williams. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until 2:00 P.M. Thursday, April 9, 2015 in the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Pennington Gap, VA with Rev. Paul Davis Jr. officiating. Graveside services will follow at the Snavely Cemetery in the Cane Creek Community of Pennington Gap, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. We are located at 42098 E.
