Phillip Samuel "Sam" Ely age 37 of Pennington Gap, VA was born in Wise County, VA on Thursday, April 13, 1978 and passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2015 in Pennington Gap. He is survived by his wife Jessica Ely, his seven children Kandice, Kaitlin, Landon, Mason, Timothy, Eva and Kara. He is also survived by his mother Rebecca Duncan, father Johnathan Ely, one sister Lezlie Niehenke and one brother Clifton Ely. He is a loving man that will truly be missed by his family and friends.
