Obituary Paul Douglas Young age 78 of Dryden, VA was born January 26, 1944 in Monarch, VA and passed away January 7, 2023 at his home in Dryden, VA. He was preceded in death by his parents Elick and Laura Young, brothers Don and Ab, sisters Florrie, Mary and Linda. Paul is survived by one son Jason Young and wife, Sonya of Bristol, TN, two daughters Jennifer Smith of Bristol, VA and Jo Ann Young of Bristol, TN, 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother James Young of Pennington Gap, VA, Jack Young of Roanoke, VA, sisters Ann Gregory of Glade Springs, VA, and Edna Daugherty of Ft. Blackmore, VA. Visitation will be from 12:00 until 2:00 PM Thursday. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA with Paul Davis, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery on Sugar Run Rd. in Jonesville, VA.
