Obituary Patty Doss Stapleton age 74 of Dryden, VA was born September 25, 1948 in Lee County, VA and passed away October 24, 2022 at her home in Dryden. She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Stapleton, parents Wilburn and Bernice Doss, one sister Jackie Olinger and one brother Richard Doss. Patty is survived by her daughter Christi Stapleton of the home, one sister Linda Harless of Dryden, VA, two special nieces that she loved as granddaughters Rilee Gibson and Abbie Chandler, several nieces, nephews, family and many friends. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday with Paul Davis, Jr. officiating. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, October 28, 2022 at Powell Valley Cemetery in Dryden, VA.
