Patty Sue Caldwell, age 68 of Ewing, VA was born in Ewing, VA on Saturday, March 20, 1948 and passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at her home after a lengthy illness. Patty loved spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Pauline Caldwell; one brother, Keith Caldwell. She is survived by three sons, Richard Brooks of Waverly, VA, Terry Brooks and Edwin Catron and Marie, all of Ewing, VA; one daughter, Melissa Catron of Ewing, VA; Six grandchildren, Elizabeth Brooks, Dustin and Dalton Louthen, Josh, Johnny and Jeremy Catron; one brother, Tom Caldwell of Ewing, VA and three sisters, Ruth England of Ewing, VA, Judy Caldwell of Ewing, VA and Shirley Earls and husband Bobby of Tazewell, TN; two aunts, Vester dempsy of Rose Hill, VA and Ethel Chadwell of Ewing, VA. Also several nieces, nephews and a host friends and also special thanks to Rose Hill Pharmacy. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the funeral home to help cover expenses.
