Patrick Lee O'Dell was born December 9, 1999 and departed this life on May 1, 2025 at the age of 25 years.

He is survived by his parents, David and Angela O'Dell, his brother, Dustin O'Dell and wife, Katie, all of Pennington Gap, and one precious daughter, Egan Delilah O'Dell of Big Stone Gap, Virginia. He also leaves behind his grandparents, Dennis O'Dell and wife Vonda, of Sneedville, TN and Barbara Wilson of Pennington Gap, along with many other loving family members.

Patrick lived a simple and unpretentious life, and loved deeply. He had a big heart which showed in the way he found worth in all others. He was kind to everyone, and considerate of the needs of those around him. While he loved everyone, his daughter was his main joy in life and he cherished every moment with her. He also loved to "tinker" and invent new tools and gadgets. His warmth, wit, and big hugs will be missed by all those who knew him. There will never be another Patrick.

Per his wishes, Patrick will be cremated. The family will receive friends at the Pennington Gap Church of God of Prophecy, 6913 US Highway 421, on Monday, May 5, 2025 from 5:30 PM until 6:30 PM. A memorial service to honor Patrick's life will be held at 6:30 PM.
