Patricia Darlene May age 63 of the Left Hand Poor Valley Community in Pennington Gap, VA was born Monday, June 21, 1954 in Pennington Gap, VA and passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenny May, parents Toy and Lilly Vanzant, two brothers Eugene Vanzant and James Vanzant. Patricia is survived by one daughter Sheli May Redicker of Pennington Gap, VA, two grandchildren Mikayla Redicker, Hunter Redicker and one great-grandchild Hazel Young, four brothers William Vanzant and wife, Jane of Scott County, Teddy Vanzant and wife, Barbara of Lee County, Virgil Vanzant of Lee County and Frankie Vanzant of Scott County, two sisters Joyce Taylor and husband, Bill of St. Charles, VA and Dorothy Bowman of Painesville, OH. Visitation will be from 11:00 PM Thursday until the time of the service. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, December 14, 2017 at the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Pennington Gap, VA. Burial will follow at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, VA.
