Patricia (Patsy) Woods Hobbs, 83, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at Lee County Community Hospital.

Patsy was born on January 13, 1942 to the late Silas and Nellie Woods in Stickleyville, Virginia. She attended Union Christian Church. Patsy spent her life being a homemaker and retired as a hair dresser.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Joe Hobbs Sr.; two brothers, Leonard Woods and Kenny Woods; son in law, Jack Fogleman.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Joe Hobbs Jr (Pam); one daughter, Jane Fogleman; one brother, Bob Woods(Gerri); grand children, Jamie Benfield (Vanessa), Ben Hobbs (Christy), Alysia Benfield (Tyler); great grand children, Alexis Benfield, Xoe Howard, Kylar Howard, Bailey Hobbs, Tripp Bailey; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She loved all of her fur babies.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Lee Memorial Gardens. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery by 1:45 pm.

Family and friends are welcome to meet anytime at the home of Patsy Hobbs.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Union Christian Church.
