Obituary Omea D. Thompson age 82 of Cocoa, FL was born November 24, 1938 in Dryden, VA and passed away March 31, 2021 at her home. She was preceded in death by one son Troy Thompson, her parents Morgan and Estell Deary, three brothers James, Faire and Genoia Deary, two sisters Reba Bates and Ellen Chittum. Omea is survived by one son Thomas Richard Thompson, Jr. (Lori) of Palm Bay, FL, two daughters Terri McGowen (Rod) and Tammy Thompson both of Cocoa, FL, two grandchildren Travis and Susane, and two great-grandchildren Addalynn and Bri. She is also survived by two brothers Truman Deary (Hope) of Dryden, VA and Tony Deary (Robin) of Pennington Gap, VA, one sister Mary Helen Deary of Dryden, many nieces and nephews and a daughter-in-law Kathy Deary of Maidens, VA. Visitation will be from 9:00 until 10:00 AM Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday at Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA with Jason Wall officiating. Burial will follow at the Deary Family Cemetery in Dryden, VA.
