It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Norma Ruth Johnson, of Woodway, VA, on Saturday, August 17th, 2024 in Big Stone Gap, VA. Born on Monday, April 27th, 1942 in Pennington Gap, VA, Norma was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.

Norma was preceded in death by her husband Billy Lee Johnson, Sr., son Jimmy Lee Johnson, father, John W Mullins, her mother, Vivian Mullins, brother Cecil, Bobby and Richard, many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-great-grandmother.

She is survived by her daughter Sandra Woliver and husband, Quinten, son Billy L. Johnson, III. and wife, Loren, Paul Johnson and wife, Shelby, Katie Bullock and husband, Rob, Billy L. Johnson, Jr. and wife Beth. She is also survived by her brother Tony Mullins and wife, Margaret, grandchildren McKenzie (Riley), Hannah, Harlee, River, Oakley, Emmitt, Ella, Robbie, and Randy, nephew Jeremy Johnson, granddaugter Emily Conkin (Grant), special niece Melissa Carnes and special nephew Jason Mullins.

A dedicated homemaker, Norma took great pride in caring for her family and creating a loving home for them. She will be remembered for her warm smile, kind heart, and unwavering love for her family.

Per her wishes, Norma Johnson will be cremated and her ashes spread at Dardy Johnson Cemetery on September 21, 2024, at 1:00 PM.
