Norma "Cookie" Jarnagin born Tuesday, February 24, 1942 died Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at the age of 74. She fought a long, hard battle till the end. Preceded her in death was her husband, Paul, parents Claude S. and Hazel Wilder. Brothers Harve and Bill. Sisters: Flora Jane, Shirley, Bobbie and Georgia. She is survived by her 5 children: Bud and Patricia Jarnagin of the home, Rita (Danny) Christian of Dryden, VA, Debbie (Roger) Ely of Jonesville, VA and Paula (Eddie) Moore of Jonesville, VA. 6 grandchildren: Brad (Ashley) Chasteen, Brandon (Sheldon) Chasteen, Bryan (Amanda) Christian, Ashley Jones, Madison Ely and Kaitlyn Moore. 7 great grandchildren: Hunter, Chaz, Collyn, Carder, Chesneigh, Levi and Eli. One brother, Rod Wilder of Morristown, TN, three sisters, Amy Stidham (Dorris) of Florida, Wanda Martin and Robin Hurst (Danny) of Morristown, TN, way too many good friends to mention that will sure miss her. At the request of the family, funeral services for Norma "Cookie" Jarnagin will be held at 12:00 noon Thursday, May 12, 2016 at the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Jonesville, VA with Brother Mike McGinnis officiating. Burial will follow at the Bethel Cemetery on Sugar Run. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM Thursday until the time of the service.
