Norma Garreffa, 85,of Dryden went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 23, 2026 at Holston Valley Medical Center.

Norma was born on March 28, 1941 to the late Elbert Garreffa and Margaret Jane Sturgill Garreffa. Norma loved her family and was always there to help them in any way she could. She worked as a teachers aide for Lee County Public Schools for several years before her retirement.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her sister, Lucy Garreffa.

Those left to cherish her memory are her brother, Charles Gilbert and wife Patricia of Dryden; niece, Michelle Martin and husband Michael; great niece, Hayley Stewart and husband Corey.

The family will receive friends from 12:00PM to 1:00PM on Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at Pennington Gap Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow with Rev. Adam Wolfe officiating.

A committal service will follow at Sturgill Family Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
