Obituary Norma Jean Eldridge was born September 11, 1940 in Virginia Lee, VA. She passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 in the comfort and presence of her loving family. She graduated from St. Charles High School in 1959. She married the love of her life, Ray Eldridge, shortly after graduation in the same year. Her faith and belief in God were strong and she was a dedicated military wife. She loved her family with all of her heart. In fact, any person that was important to her family became family to her too. She was a amazing woman that impacted the lives of anyone she knew. She will be deeply missed and her legacy will be honored and carried on by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Rebecca Coeburn; her sister, Jewell Coeburn; her brothers, James, Clarence, Fred, Bill, Robert, and Haskell Coeburn. Norma is survived by her loving husband of nearly 63 years, Ray Eldridge; her daughter, Linda Eldridge of Jonesville, VA; her son, Oscar Eldridge of Pennington Gap, VA; her son and daughter-in-law, Ray Jr. and Mary Eldridge of Anchorage, AK; her grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Christopher and Darlene Eldridge of Bristol, TN; her granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Sierra and Sam Stearns of Corpus Christi, TX; her grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Joshua and Malia Eldridge of Anchorage, AK; her granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Suzanna and Artyom Artemenko of Anchorage, AK; her great granddaughter, Avery Eldridge of Bristol, TN; her great grandson Cameron Noonan of Corpus Christi, TX; her great grandson Lucas Stearns of Corpus Christi, TX; her great grandson Vladimir Artemenko of Anchorage, AK; and numerous special nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones whose lives she touched. Visitation will be from 12:00 until 1:00 PM Friday, December 9, 2022 at Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. A graveside service will be held directly afterwards at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, VA with Pastor Paul Davis, Jr. officiating.
