Nora Biggs Weston age 88 of the Beech Grove Community in Jonesville, VA was born in Pennington Gap, VA on Friday, August 13, 1926 and passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Heritage Hall in Big Stone Gap, VA. She had been a homemaker and a member of the Long Branch Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband James Olin Weston, an infant grandson, parents George and Maude Biggs, three brothers Fred, Carl and Herbert Biggs and one sister Lola Napier. Nora is survived by two sons Allen C. Weston and Jackie Lee Weston both of Jonesville, VA and five grandchildren Jack Casey Weston, Ray Anne Weston, Gregory Allen Weston, James E. Weston, Leslie Dianne Parsons and eleven great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Jonesville, VA with Rev. Jerry Murphree officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM Wednesday until the time of the service. The graveside service will be at 11:00 AM Thursday at the Thompson Settlement Cemetery in Jonesville, VA. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:00 AM Thursday to go to the cemetery.
