Noble Smith III age 42 of Maryville, TN and formerly of Lee County, VA, was born in Harlan, KY on Friday, March 30, 1973 and passed away at his home on Tuesday, September 1, 2015. Noble had been working as a civilian chef in the states for the U.S. Military at various military bases. He was preceded in death by his mother Verna Nagel and his father Noble Dwight Smith, Jr. Noble is survived by his daughter Elizabeth Smith of Pennington Gap, VA, a brother Harold Smith of Maryville, TN, a sister Vicki Smith of Maryville, TN, step-father William 'Bill' Nagel of Big Stone Gap, VA, mother of his daughter Tammy Edgar of Pennington Gap, VA and one niece Chrissy Smith and one nephew Brian Smith. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at the Presbyterian Church in Big Stone Gap, VA with Pastor Tony Palubicki and Chuck Leedy officiating.
