Noah Burgan age 67 of the Hubbard Springs Community in Jonesville, VA was born Wednesday, April 13, 1949 in Lee County, VA and passed away Thursday, March 2, 2017 at the Holston Valley Medical center in Kingsport, TN. He attended the Freewill Baptist Church of Ocoonita, had logged for many years, farmed on the side and enjoyed his farm animals. Noah loved his kids, grandkids and great-grandkids he loved to help people and kid around and he never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his daughter Carolyn Burgan, parents Spencer and Maggie Burgan, sisters Vinnie Meany, Nina Gray, Jenny Marie Burgan and two infant siblings. Noah is survived by his sons Noah Burgan of the home, Danny Taylor, Jamie Collins and Allen Collins all of Jonesville, VA, David Bass and Jimmy Bass both of Pennington Gap, VA, daughters Tammy Woods of Morristown, TN, Dana Hartsock of Pennington Gap, VA, Makayla Beth Burgan of the home, Brenda Gunn of Jonesville, VA, Joyce Hensley of Tazewell, TN and Robin Poore of Sneedville, TN. Noah is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, brothers Charlie Burgan of Ben Hur, VA, Bill Burgan and Gary Burgan both of Jonesville, VA, sisters Sue Haynes of Knoxville, TN, Patsy Bremelo of Gate City, VA and Irene Whitmore of Johnson City, TN. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, March 5, 2017 at the Province Funeral Home in Jonesville, VA with Brother Buster Mullins officiating. Burial will follow at the Millers Chapel Cemetery in Jonesville, VA. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM Sunday until the time of the service.
