Obituary Mrs. Leona Brock, Ewing, Virginia, 90 went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, January 2, 2023. A lifelong resident of Lee County, Virginia, she was retired from the postal service, where she worked as a custodian. She was a member of the Boones Trail Trinity Tabernacle Church. She was a devoted wife and mother who took pride in homemaking, serving the Lord, her family and community. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Sallie Pridemore. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Brock; two sons, Michael Pridemore and Randy Pridemore; sisters, Mary Lee Roark, Dorothy Jones, Juanita Pridemore, Betty Sue Pridemore, Frances Jones, and Elizabeth Britton; brothers, Charles (Charlie) Pridemore, Jim Pridemore, Ray Pridemore and Dewey Pridemore and numerous nieces and nephews. Survivors include three grandsons, Michael (Shea) and wife, Shannon of Abingdon, VA, Bob Pridemore and fiance, Ashley Cox of Bristol, VA, and Jacob Pridemore of Lexington, KY; one granddaughter, Michelle Rock and husband, Jacob of Bristol, VA, four great-grandchildren Amber Pridemore, Kenny Rock, Hunter Pridemore and Addison Rock. Two daughters in law, Linda Pridemore and Jeanette Pridemore. A funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Province Funeral Home in Jonesville, VA with Pastor David Gibson officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM Saturday until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Balls Chapel Cemetery in Rose Hill, VA. Friends and relatives will serve as Pall Bearers.
