Michael Thomas Williams, 50, of Pennington Gap passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at his residence.

Michael was born on October 10, 1973 in Pennington Gap, Virginia. He worked several odd jobs throughout his life. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend.

Michael is preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Nelson; brother, Samuel Scott Williams; paternal grandparents, M.C. "Bud" Williams Jr and Marcella Williams; maternal grandparents, Jack and Edna Nelson.

Those left to cherish his memory are his father, Malcolm C. "Butch" Williams III; three sisters; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Powell Valley Cemetery with Michael's uncle, Garry Williams officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:45 PM.
