Obituary Michael Carl Tomlinson age 59 of Bristol, VA and formerly of Lee Co, VA passed away on Monday, May 2nd, 2022, in Nashville, TN after a long battle with cancer. Michael was born in Harlan, KY on March 4th, 1963. He did a short stint in the US Army and lived most of his life in TN and VA. He was preceded in death by his parents L.C. and Doris Tomlinson of Pennington Gap, VA. Michael is survived by four sisters, Cindy and Steve Bishop of Hendersonville, NC, Sandra and Eddie Grindstaff of Kingsport, TN, Donna and Don Coleman of Pace, FL, Lou Ann and Chuck Speck of Big Stone Gap, VA and one brother Tim and Sherry Tomlinson of Pennington Gap, VA and many nieces and nephews. Michael is also survived by a special partner Tammy Martin, her children Dakota and Heather and two little boys, Rayden and Alex who claimed him as their "Papaw".
