Obituary Michael Joe Newton age 59 of Pennington Gap, VA was born Thursday, June 22, 1961 in St. Charles, VA and passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Hattie Newton, one brother John Quentin Newton and one sister Colleen Newton. He is survived by his son Colin Cooper of Pennington Gap, VA, three brothers Gerald Newton, Paul Eddie "Fig" Newton, Kenneth Newton and Daryl Newton, three sisters Thelma Welch, Alice Quiet and Stephanie Newton, also several nieces, nephews other family and friends.
