Michael (Mike D) Dennison age 45 of Pennington Gap, VA was born in Pennington Gap on Monday, July 13, 1970 and passed away Sunday, March 20, 2016 at his home. He had formerly worked as a coal miner and enjoyed hunting, fishing, digging ginseng and watching NASCAR racing. He was preceded in death by his parents Irving and Lois Dennison, a sister Sonya Young and his favorite dog Petey. Michael is survived by his sons Dustin Dennison, Matthew Dennison and Joseph Cox all of Jonesville, VA, a daughter Makayla Dennison of St. Charles, VA, four grandchildren Leland and Maddex Dennison of Appalachia, VA and Eli and Emilee Cox of Jonesville, VA. He is also survived by two sisters Sharon Dennison and husband, Sam of Elizabethton, TN and Lisa Coomer of Pennington Gap, VA and several nieces and nephews. Michaels wishes were to have no services.
