Michael Cooper age 28 of Dryden, VA was born Thursday, May 18, 1989 in Big Stone Gap, VA and passed away Sunday, June 4, 2017 at the Lonesome Pine Hospital in Big Stone Gap, VA. He had lived in Lee County, VA his entire life. He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother Margaret Johnson, great-grandfather Ern Cooper, an aunt Darlene Green, uncles Donald Johnson and Buddy Johnson. Michael is survived by his wife Taylor Cooper of the home, sons Aydyn, Ashton and Austin Cooper of the home, mother Sheral Eagle of Virginia, father Lee Cooper of Mendota, VA, a brother Ernest Lee Cooper, Jr and wife, Sarah of Fayetteville, TN, two sisters Kristy Long and husband, Jason of Ewing, VA, Misty Marcum and husband, Randy of Mendota, VA, three uncles Robert Johnson and Michael Johnson both of Mendota, VA, Willie G. Johnson and wife, Sue of Ohio, mother-in-law Stacy Warf of Ewing, VA, father-in-law, Emory Bernard Swink, Jr. of Annapolis, MD and best friend Jeremy Muse of Pennington Gap, VA. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at the St. Charles First Baptist Church with Paul Davis, Jr. officiating.
