Obituary Maudie Collins age 75 of Pennington Gap, VA, passed away on August 11, 2022 peacefully in her sleep at Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Big Stone Gap, VA. Maudie was born on February 3, 1947 to Dewey and Hattie Mae Collins. She was the youngest of five children. Maudie had two sons Ricky Wade and Eddie Reasor. She lived in the Pennington Gap area for most of her life. Maudie had a very strong work ethic and worked many years. Maude was a believer and was a member of Harbers Chapel. Maudie was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Hattie Collins, her brothers Eugene and Billy Collins (Janie), and her sisters Pauline (Kelsey) Biggs and Mary (Gerald) Thomas. She was also preceded in death by her son, Ricky Wade. She is survived son Eddie Reasor (Amanda) of Jonesville, VA, grandsons Braeden Sprinkle, Preston Reasor, Ricky Wade, and granddaughter Rebecca Wade. She will also be missed by her nieces Carol Ward, Theresa Heck, and Jo Ella Burget and her nephews Gerald (Bud) Thomas, Larry Biggs, Junior Collins and Steve Collins. The family would like to thank the nursing home staff and nurses. Visitation will be from 12:00 until 1:00 PM Thursday, August 18, 2022 at Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday with Richard Davis and Ella Mae Honeycutt officiating. Burial will follow at Powell Valley Cemetery in Dryden, VA. We are located at 42098 E.
