Obituary Marilyn Joyce 'Joy' Fleenor age 86 of Pennington Gap, VA was born Wednesday, September 28, 1932 in St. Charles, VA and passed away Thursday, December 27, 2018 at her home. She had been a Respiratory Therapist, loved to attend church and her church family, was a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband John T. 'Jay' Fleenor, Sr., a son Christopher Fleenor, parents Charles Raymond and Ruby Josephine Wilson, two brothers Walter Herman Wilson and Charles Raymond Wilson, Jr. and one sister Sue Wilson. Joy is survived by four sons John T. Fleenor, Jr. and wife, Angela of Johnson City, TN, Walter Raymond Fleenor and wife, Nancy of Jonesville, VA, Jeffery Lynn Fleenor of Woodway, VA and Marcus Fleenor and wife, Cama of Spruce Pine, NC, two daughters Melinda Fleenor of Jonesville, VA, Sonja Cox and husband, Tim of Jonesville, VA, 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Rena Toole of Redington Beach, FL and a host of extended family and many friends. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday, December 29, 2018 at the Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM with Pastor Bob Richards officiating. Burial will follow at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, VA.
