Marie Tritt age 73 of Rogersville, TN was born in Jonesville, VA on Wednesday, April 8, 1942 and passed away Friday, January 8, 2016 at the Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN. She was a member of the New Hope Christian Church in Rogersville, TN and loved taking care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents James Clay and Buelah Webb McPherson, her brothers Ricky, Jay, Virge, and Joe McPherson and a sister Shirley (Lucy) Spurrier. Marie is survived by her husband Euel Tritt of Rogersville, TN, one son Euel Tritt, Jr. of Fredericksburg, VA, two daughters Angela Davis and husband, Nick of Bulls Gap, TN and Shanna Pressley and husband, Neil of Fletcher, NC, grandchildren Casey Young, Ashley Fannon, Savannah Pressley, Sydney Pressley, Jessica Tritt, Rachuel Marie Tritt, Katie Tritt, Gracie Tritt and Hunter Davis, great-grandchildren Addison Young, Matthew Young, Anna Marie Young, Isaiah Fannon and Levi Davis. She is also survived by her sister Nancy (Bootsie) Sharpless of Rogersville, TN and two brothers Mickey Hopkins of Morristown, TN and Bob Hopkins of Dryden, VA. Her husband is looking forward to seeing her in Heaven. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7:30 PM Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at the Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon Wednesday at the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary with Rev. Charles Reece officiating. Burial will follow at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, Va.
