Margaret Louise Robinette, age 73, of Duffield, VA passed away early Saturday morning (November 25, 2023) at her home after a lengthy battle with breast cancer.

Margaret was born March 19, 1950 a daughter of the late Clyde and Sally Bledsoe Phillips. She was one of eight children and was a member of Irondale Baptist Church where her father was pastor. She married the love of her life Sammy Robinette and was blessed with three sons. Margaret's joy was being a wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to quilt and took great pride in her craft. She would often reminisce about her time with Sammy as they roamed the mountains gathering herbs.

Preceded in death by her parents and husband, also her son Michael. Also preceded were brothers: Rex Allen, Clyde, Jr. and Howard along with a sister Joan.

She is survived by her Sons: Brian (Sarah) and Nathan Robinette. 2 brothers: Frankie Phillips (Ann) and Robert Phillips along with a sister: Cora Carroll.

Grandchildren: Siera (Steven), Payton (Charis), Devin, Baylee (Lucas) and Kaitlyn. Great-grandchildren: Adelaide, Arabella and Roan. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and other family along with a host of friends also survive.

Funeral services will be Tuesday evening (November 28, 2023) at 7 PM in the chapel of the Pennington Gap Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Davis, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends 5 until 7 preceding the services. Committal services will be Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at 11 AM in the Powell Valley Cemetery at Dryden, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. It is requested that those attending those services meet at the funeral home by 10:20 AM to go in procession.
