Margaret McPherson, 74, of Pennington Gap went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at Lee County Community Hospital.

She was born on August 11, 1949 in Rose Hill, Virginia to the late Henry and Lillie Hopkins Davis. She was a homemaker and housewife.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Ethard Joe McPherson, SR and two sons: Randy and Jack. One daughter: Cindy Grey, a grandson: Daniel Vaughan along with two brothers: Frank and Rueben.

She is survived by two sons: Vernon Pudge McPherson, Jr and wife Kimberly and Danny Horner and wife Jennifer

Daughter: Melinda Davis and spouse Brittany Burke

A host of grandchildren and great grandchildren

Brothers: James (Sheila), Joe Paul, Edward (Sylvia), Johnny and Bobby

Sisters: Mary, Lisa, Andrea, Donna, Karen (Jim) and Sheila (Frank)

Graveside services will be Saturday, June 1st, 2024 at 2 PM at the McPherson Family Cemetery, Maple Hill Road/Green Leaf Road, Jonesville, VA with David Woods officiating this service.

It is requested family and friends meet at the cemetery by 1:50 PM for the services.
