Obituary Marcelles L. 'Morris' Hand age 86 of Jonesville, VA was born Saturday, April 29, 1933 and passed away Monday, April 29, 2019 at Heritage Hall in Big Stone Gap, VA. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Cora Hand, brothers Marion, Roscoe, James 'Jim', Joe and Homer Hand and sisters Ruby Miles and Ollie Miles. Morris is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Lenice Lavada Hand of the home, one brother Ernest Hand of Jonesville, VA, one sister Eliza Carroll of Jonesville, VA, special caregivers sister-in-law Mary Hand, brother-in-law David Stapleton and Aaron Stapleton, many nieces, nephews and extended family. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, May 2, 2019 at the Millers Chapel Cemetery in the Millers Chapel Community with Dr. Charles Barrier officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet the cemetery at 12:45 PM Thursday for the graveside service.
