Obituary Mae Napier Nida, 63, was born on October 31, 1955 in Pennington Gap, VA and went home to be with the Lord on August 14, 2019. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was a homemaker and worked at the Family Dollar and later went to work at KCG Call Centers. Mae loved to be a round her family and friends. She was of the Baptist faith. Mae is proceeded in death by her loving husband John Nida; her parents Paul and Bernice Napier; two brothers Jerry and Harold "Huleo" Napier; mother and father-in-law Lee and Lizzie Nida; brother-in-laws James Rober and Bill and Burl Nida; sister-in-laws Annie Ingle and Louise Allen. She is survived by her son Matthew Nida and wife Brittany; her pride and joy, granddaughter, Madi Nida; 2 sisters Lois May and husband Harold "Willie", Jenny and husband Bruce; Sister-in- laws Darlene Napier, Belva Young, Nora Fitts, Patty Minor and Claudia Nida. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews, cousins, and many friends. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday at Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 Friday with Pastor Paul Davis, Jr. officiating. A graveside service will be at 11:00 AM Saturday at Powell Valley Cemetery in Dryden, VA. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:00 AM Saturday to go to the cemetery.
