Lucy Ann Peters Burgan, 88, of Jonesville went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at Norton Community Hospital.

Lucy was born on July 28, 1936 in Lee County, Virginia to the late Ernest Peters and Madlena Allison Peters. Lucy was a proud homemaker and loved caring for her family.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Burgan; and her brother, William "Bill" Peters.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Tim (Tami) Burgan; daughter, Tammy (Jimmy) Deirth; grandchildren, Tara Burgan, Kacey Burgan, and Kody Burgan; great grandchild, Alli Dotson; sister, Ernestine Poe; special cousin, Jim Daugherty; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at Hubbard Springs Church Cemetery with Pastor Steve Neff officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:50 PM.
