Obituary Louise Hall Smith age 102 of Pennington Gap, VA was born September 1, 1918 in Jonesville, VA and passed away January 4, 2021 at Lee Health and Rehab in Pennington Gap, VA. She was in the Womens Army Corps for a year and had been a bookkeeper and clerk for the Town of Pennington Gap for 47 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband Chauncy Ralph "Froggie" Smith, parents John Henry and Georgia Ella Denny Hall, two brothers and three sisters. Louise is survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. A graveside service will be held by the American Legion of Norton, VA Post # 243 with Nancy Province officiating at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, VA. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:45 AM Wednesday for the service.
