Louise Minnie Gibson age 91 of Kingsport, TN and formerly of Greensboro, NC, was born in Madison, NC on Saturday, January 30, 1926 and passed away Thursday, February 2, 2017 at the Wexford House in Kingsport, TN. She retired from Southern Webbing Mills and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Greensboro, NC. She is preceded in death by her parents Rural and Minnie Woods, daughter-in-law Doris Gibson, five brothers and two sisters. Louise is survived by one son Jesse Taylor Gibson of Ewing, VA, three grandchildren Gina Voliva of Greensboro, NC, Charles T. Gibson of Kingsport, TN and Summer Brooke Gibson of Kingsport, TN, three great-grandchildren Chandler Voliva of Greensboro, NC, Kegan Armstrong of Kingsport, TN and Reichen Gibson of Kingsport, TN, two sisters Lila Synder and husband, Ray of Madison, NC and Mildred Mabe of Madison, NC. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 PM Saturday, February 4, 2017 at the Province Funeral Home in Jonesville, VA with Carlos Wolfe to officiate at 1:00.
