Lonnie Ray Thomas Sr, 75, of Kingsport passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at his residence.

Lonnie was born on November 22, 1948 in Pucketts Creek in Lee County, Virginia to the late Lewis and Pansy Rogers Thomas.

Along with his parents Lonnie is preceded in death by his wife, Tuya Thomas; brothers, Roger Thomas, Jimmy Thomas, Kenneth Thomas. and Bobby Gene Thomas.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Lonnie Ray Thomas Jr, Andy Lee Thomas, Randy Lynn Thomas, and Davaajargal Grish; daughters, Jessica Louise Bowlsby, Davaakhuu Tuya and Enkhchimeg Grish; sister, Patsy Pridemore; along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, July 15, 2024 at Rogers Cemetery in the Puckett Creek community with Pastor Paul Davis Jr. officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:50 PM.
