Obituary Lola Ferguson Pochodzay age 69 of Jonesville, VA was born March 31, 1951 in Lee County, VA and passed away October 31, 2020 at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN. She is preceded in death by her parents Thurman and Margaret Ferguson, sisters Lorene Gunn, Betty Marcum, Linda Collins, April Coomer and Barbara Cosby, brothers Eddie Ferguson and Arthur Ferguson. Lola is survived her husband James Vernon Pochodzay of the home, sisters Eula Duncan (Lee Roy) of Goochland, VA and Virginia Edens (Roger) of Stickleyville, VA, brothers Bill Ferguson (Ella Mae) of Big Stone Gap, VA and Don Ferguson (Diane) of Pennington Gap, VA, her adopted daughter and son Jessica Coomer (Michael) and Danny Coomer. She is also survived by her grandchildren Ethan Newberry, Brooklynn Newberry, Jedidiah Newberry, Daniel Coomer, Brett Coomer, Xavier Coomer, Logan Coomer, Aubrielle Coomer, Phoenix Parsons, Lucian Kimberlin, granddog Bella, several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday at Ocoonita Freewill Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the Ocoonita Cemetery.
