Linda Lou Marcum Williams, 74, of Jonesville went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at Lee Health and Rehab.

Linda was born on February 13, 1951 in Maryland to the late Carl Marcum and Opal Barnes Marcum. Linda worked for several years as a seamstress at DeRoyal before her retirement. Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her daughters, Carolyn Williams and Karen Williams; brothers, Wendell Marcum, William Marcum, and Ken Marcum; sisters, Diane Holland and Betty Hawkins.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jimmy Williams; daughters, April Ledford and husband Derrick, Shelly Williams, and step-daughter, Tina Phillips; 17 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Sunday, April 13, 2025 at Powell Valley Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Steve Neff officiating.

A committal service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 14, 2025 at Bethel Church Cemetery with Pastor Steve Neff officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:30 AM to go in procession.
