Obituary Lillie Mae Stewart, age 81 of Dryden, VA was born on Tuesday, April 13, 1937 in the Kemmer Gem Community of St. Charles, VA and passed away Saturday, April 28, 2018 at the Kingston Center in Duffield, VA. Lillie had been a bar manager at Roseland Tavern, worked for Westinghouse and was a member of the VFW. She was also a member of the Darbyville Baptist Church in St. Charles, VA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Stewart and her parents, Golvin and America Jessee Jones. She is survived by her nephew, Chris Jones and wife, Sherri of Ashland, OH; two nieces, Dreama (Brown) Jones and Denell (Shank) Jones, both of Mansfield, OH; her sisters-in-laws, Patricia Garreffa and husband Charles; Angel Sturgill and husband, Day both of Dryden, VA; Judy Collier and husband, Eulis of Pennington Gap, VA; Irene Thomas of the Robbins Chapel Community of Keokee, VA; Dorothy Carter of Woodway, VA and Gladys Rowland of Indiana and two brothers-in-laws, Orville Stewart and Bernard Stewart, both of Ohio; and a host of friends. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at the Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. A funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday with Rev. Paul Davis Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, VA. Brothers-in-laws will serve as pallbearers.
