Lillian Louise "Ditty" Sharpe, age 75, passed away Monday, June 17, 2024 surrounded by loved ones. She was an active member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed serving her community through the Calvary Road Food Pantry faithfully for 14 years.

Preceding her in death was her parents, Simon "Pete" and Ruth Baumgardner; her husband of 43 years, Robert "Buddy" Sharpe; infant daughter, Tammy Maxine Sharpe; siblings, Ronnie Baumgardner, Sam Baumgarder, and Hazel Blair.

She is survived by her three daughters, America "Charli" (John) Collins, Wanoka "Nokie" Faulkner (Dennis Akers), and Monica "Tiny" (Shawn) Cody; siblings, Betty Collins (Newman Goins), Buddy Baumgardner, Roger "Peanut" (Debbie) Baumgardner; grandchildren, Caleb (Jamie) Collins, Joshua (Brittany) Collins, Stephen "Rudy" Collins, Justin (Stephanie) Faulkner, Dustin (Paige) Faulkner, Skyler Faulkner (Tonya), Cheyenne Cody (Lee); great-grandchildren, Robert, Kinley, Kiowa, Mahala, Liam Levi, Bonnie, Hattie, Harper, Lilly, Ryleigh, Ema, Behr, Daisy, Audreena, Legend, expected great granddaughter Josephine; special friend, Jeff Williams, and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

Calling hours will be 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Sunday, June 23, at Powell Valley Funeral Home- Jones Family Services in Jonesville, Virginia. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Marvin Matlock officiating. Committal service will immediately follow at the Beech Grove Cemetery, Beech Grove area of Jonesville, Va. Grandsons Justin, Dustin and Skyler Faulkner and Caleb, Joshua, and Stephen Collins will serve as pallbearers with great grandsons serving as honorary pallbearers.
