Lee Yap Tan, 64, of Pennington Gap passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at his residence.

Lee was born on March 17, 1960 in the Philippines. Lee was a physician in the Philippines before moving to Lee County and becoming a Physical Therapist. He served the community proudly and was adored by his patients. He earned many degrees in his career. Lee was a loving brother, uncle, and dear friend to many. Lee was a faithful member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.

Lee is preceded in death by his parents, Chiao Pit Tan and Pearl Yap Tan; and brother in-law, Constancio Pepito.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sister, Lorelei Pepito; niece, Lovelei Pepito; nephew, Laurenz Pepito; along with several close friends and church family

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church (384 Eagle Ridge Dr, Jonesville, VA 24263), A funeral mass will follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lee Tan's remembrance to Holy Spirit Catholic Church, or a charity of your choice.
