Obituary Larry Wayne Dean age 42 of Rural Retreat, VA was born October 22, 1977 and went to his home in Heaven on June 15, 2020. He was reared in the Stickleyville, VA Community where he was known as "Beaner" by his friends. He was a 1997 graduate of Lee High School, a former employee of Volvo Trucks in Dublin, VA where he was a proud member of the UAW. He is preceded in death by his father Larry Nelson Dean and grandparents Walter "Club" and Lizzie Laster of Stickleyville, VA and Larry Carson and Emma Lou Dean of Pennington Gap, VA, his special uncles Jerry Wayne Dean and Robbie Laster. Larry is survived by his wife Nicole Palar of Rock Island, IL, two daughters Phoenix Dean of Rock Island, IL and Haleigh Dean of Max Meadows, VA, one son Brayden Dean and one grandson Holden Surratt, both from Max Meadows, VA, his mother and step-father Larry and Lindsey Arnold of Rural Retreat, VA, one brother Richard Thomas of Rural Retreat, VA, two sisters Donna Green of Spencer, IN and Connie Schmezle of Indianapolis, IN, one step-brother Tommy Arnold of Newark, OH and two step-sisters Jennifer Arnold of Pulaskie, VA , Angie Arnold of Rural Retreat, VA and his fur baby "Daisy". Visitation will be from 12:00 until 2:00 PM Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA Burial will follow at John Ward Cemetery in Stickleyville, VA .
