Obituary Larry Paul Carter age 77 of Pennington Gap, VA was born on May 20, 1944 in Pennington Gap, VA and passed away July 1, 2021 in Pennington Gap, VA. He was a Army veteran and a member of the Miles Freemason Lodge #165. He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Minnie Carter, three brothers Jack Coffman, Ray Coffman and Gene Carter , two sisters JoAnn Carter Doss, Gay Anderson. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Dora Carter of the home, one son Michael Shannon and wife Betty Jo of Jonesville, VA one daughter Leshia Carter of Pennington Gap, VA and two grandsons that was his world Austin Hornby and Jacob Calhoun and numerous nieces and nephews family and friends.
