Obituary

Lance Wayne Bryson, age 42, of Harlan, Kentucky formally of St. Charles, Virginia passed away Saturday evening, March 2, 2024 at his home.

He was born July 4, 1981 in Big Stone Gap, Virginia a son of JoAnn Haynes Bryson Woodard and the late Daniel Wayne Bryson. He was a coal miner and attended Lee High School. Lance enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on cars, riding his motorcycle, and ginseng hunting.

Besides his Father, he is preceded in death by his Paternal grandparents: Edward and Ardith Bryson and Maternal grandparents: Pearl and Bernice Haynes.

He is survived by his wife: Kelly King Bryson

Son Logan (Kayden) and daughter Kylie, step-children Jordyn King, Devin King, Colton Byrer, and Caidence Newton.

Mother: Joann Woodard (Michael)

Sisters: Amanda Johnson (Chris) and Wendy Varner (Brandon)

Step-son: Zander Gibson

Several Nieces, Nephews, cousins and other family also survive.

At the request of the family, his body will be cremated. The family will receive friends at 11:00 am Friday, March 8, 2024 at Pennington Gap Funeral Home. A Memorial service will follow at 12:00 pm with Pastor Paul Davis, Jr officiating.

The family asks that you remember them during this time.
