Obituary Kyle Boyd Sluss age 88 of Pennington Gap, VA was born February 14, 1934 in Russell County, VA and passed away February 26, 2022 at his home. He was preceded in death by his wife Anna Mae Sluss, parents Ceary and Maude Sluss, three brothers Vernon Sluss, Curtis Sluss, Wayne Sluss and one sister Helen Ray. Kyle is survived by his children Carl Sluss and wife, Valerie, Sherie Birkenbach and husband, Gary, Roger Sluss and wife, Sabrina, Debbie Newman and husband, George Partin (deceased) and Bobby Stapleton, eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters Thelma Perry and Naomie Fields and one brother Gary Sluss. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at Powell Valley Cemetery in Dryden, VA with Dr. Charles Barrier. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:45 AM Wednesday for the service.
