Kevin Carl Pyers, 69, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 9, 2025 at his home in Big Stone Gap, Virginia.

Kevin was born on March 14, 1956 to the late Carl and Fern Pyers.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, John Martin and sister, Rita Beach.

Those left to cherish his memory is his companion and best friend of 20 years, Anne Tomlinson; five sisters, Terry Miller, Jeanette Humrichouse, Pat Morrison, Edna Stevens, and Vicki Russell; caregivers, Patricia Ramey and J Rod; grand son, Alex Dooley; and two fur babies, Butch and Boo Boo Bear.

Per his wishes, Kevin will be cremated with a memorial to follow on Tuesday, June 17, 2025. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm with the memorial service starting at 5:00 pm.
