Kenneth David Robinette, 72, passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at his home in Dryden, Virginia.

Kenneth was born on July 28, 1953, to the late L.E. and Anna Robinette in Duffield, Virginia. He was a coal miner and was an outdoorsman. Kenneth loved the New York Yankees and had a strong passion for animals.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Judy Hobbs Smith.

Those left to cherish his memory is his sisters, Debra Rhea, Mary Schardt (Gary), and Lisa Hughs; nieces and nephews, Chris Blair, April Burchett, Kevin Hobbs, Luke Hughs, and Thomas Hughes; great nieces and nephews, Kealy, Blaise, Paisley, and Kennedie Hobbs.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Pennington Gap Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Mark Tabor officiating the service.

The committal service will follow the service at Hidden Valley Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
