Obituary Kenneth "Kenny" Ray Rhoten age 51 of Dryden, VA was called home suddenly, to be with the Lord on August 1st 2020. He was born February 8, 1969 in Stickleyville, VA and lived in Lee County his whole life. Kenny was preceded in death by his mother and father Marie and Leonard Rhoten of Dryden, VA, his brother Ivan Rhoten of Dryden, VA. He is survived by his son Dylan Ray Jetter Rhoten, step-daughters Katie Louise Falin of Dryden, VA, Rebecca Kimberlin and husband, Blake of Woodway, VA, sisters Mildred Delph and husband, Sam of Dryden, VA, Joy Rhoten of Dryden, VA, brothers Randy Rhoten and wife, Terry of Chatsworth, GA, Johnnie Rhoten of Dryden, VA and Jamie Rhoten and wife, Lisa of Woodway, VA. He is also survived by his two granddaughters Aubree Grace and Emorie Kate Kimberlin, who had him wrapped around their finger. He also had several nieces and nephews. Kenny had two special friends Kenneth (Freebird) Freeman, who he thought of as a brother and the White family. A very special women and second mother Christine Hall. Kenny had a very special companion Naomi Hall of Dryden, VA. Kenny worked for Tri State Metal as a carpenter and roofer for many years. He loved to hunt, fish and be outdoors with his family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, August 7, 2020 at Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA with John Britton officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon Friday until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery in Stickleyville, VA.
