Kathy Turene Coomer, 55, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at her home in Rose Hill, Virginia surrounded by her family.

Kathy was born on February 27, 1970 to the late Wilson and Dora White in Lee County, Virginia. Kathy loved her family, especially her grand kids and she will be deeply missed.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by four sisters, Lisa Sargent, Ann Ketron, Loretta White, and Karen White; and a brother, Troy White.

Those left to cherish her memory is her husband of 35 years, Randall Coomer; two sons, Wilson Coomer (Adrianna) and Rondal White (Nikki); one daughter, Whitney Johnson (Mike); two brothers, Danny White and Travis White; four sisters, Donna Francis, Terri White, Teresa Sargent, and Sandra White; grand children, Poseidon, Kali, Adalynn, Maggie, Willow, Beau, Asher, Maverick, and Taylor; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 21, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Pennington Gap Funeral Home. A service will follow with Pastor Bobby Howard officiating.

The committal service will follow at Pennington Memorial Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
