Judy
Reifsneider
June 30, 1956 – September 13, 2025
Judy Alice Reifsneider of Woodstown, NJ.
Judy Alice Reifsneider, nee Price- born 06-30-1956, age 69, died peacefully in her sleep in the early morning on September 13, 2025, at her home in Pennington Gap, VA.
Judy wanted nothing more than the simplicity of life in her chair on her porch overlooking her mountain and watching her grandchildren grow and play. Being a mother and being a Gam was everything to her.
Judy was a life long care giver and also worked alongside her sister, Janet Foster, as a massage therapist. She was an avid reader and always had a book in hand or audio on play with the perfect ability to tune out the world and dive into her stories. Judy deeply loved her family and friends of whom she held dear. Judy was a beautiful person, always wanting to help where she could, even when she had little to give. She loved to cook and prepared many delicious meals over the years. Her straightforward approach to life was refreshing and her quick wit was always right on track. She will be sorely missed by all who loved her.
Judy was predeceased by her husband John C. Reifsneider of Philadelphia, PA; her parents Bernie & Dorothy Price of Pilesgrove, NJ; her sisters Virginia L. Sparks of Sharptown, NJ, Janet E. Foster of Woodstown, NJ; and her brother William "Jerry" Price of Florida.
Judy leaves behind her daughter Rachel M. Saint (Adam-who Judy often called her favorite child and loved so deeply); her adopted daughters Rebecca Estlack-Greening(Kevin) & Lindsay Mathis(John- Gam's Johnny Boy); her grandchildren: Lukas Golway, Tarynn Golway, Alaric Salcedo, Lucas Saint, Jayda Mathis, Jayson Mathis, Jack Mathis and Jasmine Mathis; a select few nieces and nephews and her two very best life long best friends Marian Eller of Monroeville, NJ and Jennifer Fox of Wildwood, NJ.
Judy did not wish for any services or a memorial. Please honor her memory how you shared your love with her.
In lieu of flowers: cards for the family would be appreciated. If you'd like to make a donation towards her cremation costs, memory bears for all of her grand children or to assist in paying off her car they can be sent to:

Judy was simple and happy. All she spoke of was watching her mountain leaves change in a few weeks. Let the leaves remind you of her beautiful soul.
Judy Alice Reifsneider and her family are in the care of Pennington Gap Funeral Home.
