Judith Claudette Benfield, 72, went to to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at Ridgecrest manor nursing home in Duffield, Virginia.

Judy was born on March 27, 1953 to the late Virgil and Shirley Robbins in Pennington Gap, Virginia.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Kurby Robbins.

Those left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 53 years, John Benfield; one son, John Wesley Benfield; two daughters, Amanda Renee Lewis and Misty Dawn Benfield; one brother, Johnny Robbins; 2 sisters, Margaret Robbins and Vicki Floyd; grand children, Austin, Cheyanne, Dale, Hunter, Aaliyah, Ramey, and Devan; great grand child, Aurthur; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Pennington Gap Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Paul Davis Jr., officiating the service.

A committal service will follow at 2:00 PM at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
